Let’s celebrate an amazing 2016!
Our fourth year in existence was a very significant year for iSupport Community and included successes on all fronts.
Here’s just a few of the highlights!
We changed the name from Charity Club to the Inside Out Club to better reflect our mission to develop kids with character inside and out.
The Inside Out Club school program grew from six schools in January 2016 to eighteen schools this spring reaching over 550 kids!
The weekend Inside Out Club committee was formed and has planned fourteen Inside Out Club events for this spring!
Our new community partner, North Central College, will be helping us with a research project to assess the effectiveness of the Inside Out Club school program this spring.
Early parent survey results for the fall reveal that 82% of families feel they are more likely to volunteer as a result of their child’s participation in the Club, 98% believe character education is important for a child’s development and future success, and 86% believe their child’s participation has increased their perspective of the community.
We welcomed Amita Health, Continental Motors, and Pinot’s Palette Naperville as corporate partners in the Inside Out Club program. They joined Primrose School, who has been a supporter since 2015.
Highlighted five community leaders who exemplify what it means to live a life from the inside out.
Our ISC 5K race exceeded expectations with over 125 runners this year!
We received a $10,000 grant from the DuPage Foundation and $2,000 from the Exchange Club of Naperville.
We hired our first employee.
We welcomed Scott Saxe and Heather Gottfried to our Board of Directors!
