Inspire kindness in your child, yourself and in others at this family character event!
Event is FULL
We’ll be creating kindness rocks, learning about the Ripple of Kindness Project and making plans to spread kindness to others! Children will make three rocks: one for themselves, one for a friend or family member and one to show kindness in the community.
This is a great way to connect as a family as you practice kindness to yourself and others.
Location & Timing
This event will be hosted by our community partner, the DuPage Children’s Museum, and will take place in their Art Studio.
Sunday March 11th, 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm
Please check in at the front desk and they will direct you to the Art Studio.
What to Bring
We will provide the rocks, paints and other decorating supplies.
Please bring a small shoe box or cookie sheet to take your rocks home on as they will still be a little wet.
After the event, you may want to seal your rocks with Mod Podge Acrylic Sealer to make them shiny and last when placed outside. This is optional. If you do want to seal them we recommend buying the sealer ahead of time.
Space is limited. You must register to reserve your spot(s). The cost is $7 per child (adults are free), which covers the cost of supplies, time and organization involved in planning and executing the event.
You can enjoy the Museum at no additional cost for 30 minutes before the event. If you’d like to extend your fun and come even earlier, you will need to pay the Museum entrance fee unless you are already a member.
If you cannot afford the cost, please email the names and ages in your family or group to email@example.com and we will be happy to register you for free.
If you’d like to avoid the Eventbrite fees, please:
- Make a donation for $7 per child at www.isupportcommunity.org/donate
- Put the weekend event name in the comments field as well as the number of children and adults attending
- By making the donation, you are agreeing to this RELEASE/WAIVER
- We will contact you to complete the registration.

Age guidelines / Parent participation
Inside Out Club weekend events are designed for children ages 3-12 and their parents. Older children are welcome to participate as volunteer/mentors for the younger kids. These are family events, not drop off. If you have questions about these guidelines, please contact Rita at firstname.lastname@example.org.
About the club
I Support Community’s Inside Out Club is on a mission to develop kids with character inside and out: Kids that work well together, include others, keep trying if they fail, can imagine what it’s like to be someone else, know themselves inside and out, are curious, thankful and kind, and support the community. Can you imagine if every child grew up believing and living their lives this way?
Our vision is a community filled with empathetic and engaged community contributors for generations to come. We believe the more children and families that participate in the Inside Out Club, over time, will make this vision come true. Thank you for being a part of it! The Inside Out Club (https://www.isupportcommunity.org/inside-out-club/) is on the weekends, in schools and online.
We are a not for profit funded through grants, fundraising events, corporate sponsorship and individual donations. If you’d like to make a donation, please click here.
