Dogs and cats need a little love, too!
Join us in making their day. We’ll be decorating catnip bags for the kitties and making a variety of toys for the dogs and cats at the Naperville Area Humane Society. It’s be tons of fun!
Location & Timeline
We’ll be meeting at the Naperville Bank & Trust Community room (2nd floor) on Saturday, August 25th at 10:30 am to make the toys and decorate the catnip bags.
Immediately after anyone wanting to, can drive to the Naperville Area Humane Society to deliver the gifts and see the dogs and cats! The Humane Society opens at noon. We plan to arrive around noon and families can stay as long as they’d like.
What you need to bring
If you have some old t-shirts and/or jeans that you can bring to use, that’s great. If not, we’ll have extras. If you’d like to bring a donation for the Humane Society (dog treats, cat toys, kitty litter) they would greatly appreciate your generosity. You can check out what they need most on their website – https://www.naperhumane.org/.
We’ll provide the supplies for the kitty crafts, catnip bag decorations, and extra t-shirts and jeans. We’ll also bring directions and any scissors needed.
What an amazing way to work together in showing kindness and respect for animals.
Space is limited to 18 children and their parents/guardians. You must register to reserve your spot(s). The cost is $7 per child (adults are free), which covers the cost of supplies, time and organization involved in planning and executing the event.
If you cannot afford the cost, please email the names and ages in your family or group to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to register you for free.

About the club
I Support Community’s Inside Out Club is on a mission to develop kids with character inside and out: Kids that work well together, include others, keep trying if they fail, can imagine what it’s like to be someone else, know themselves inside and out, are curious, thankful and kind, and support the community. Can you imagine if every child grew up believing and living their lives this way?
Our vision is a community filled with empathetic and engaged community contributors for generations to come. We believe the more children and families that participate in the Inside Out Club, over time, will make this vision come true. Thank you for being a part of it! The Inside Out Club (https://www.isupportcommunity.org/inside-out-club/) is on the weekends, in schools and online.
We are a not for profit funded through grants, fundraising events, corporate sponsorship and individual donations. If you’d like to make a donation, please click here.
