Bird Houses

Are you looking for a fun volunteer activity for your family? How about making bird houses for Habitat for Humanity?

Kids will get to assemble and decorate their houses, which will be donated to families in DuPage County that have received a new home from Habitat for Humanity.

In addition, a representative from Habitat for Humanity will share information on their programs and how we can all help. We’ll read a story and learn about how Habitat helps families globally as well as locally.

You and your family will leave this event feeling thankful and full of kindness.

Thank you to our event sponsor:

Age guidelines / Parent participation

Inside Out Club weekend events are designed for children ages 3-12 and their parents. Older children are welcome to participate as volunteer/mentors for the younger kids. These are family events, not drop off. If you have questions about these guidelines, please contact Rita at rita@isupportcommunity.org.

About the club

I Support Community’s Inside Out Club is on a mission to develop kids with character inside and out: Kids who work well together, include others, keep trying if they fail, can imagine what it’s like to be someone else, know themselves inside and out, are curious, thankful and kind, and support the community. Can you imagine if every child grew up believing and living their lives this way?

Our vision is individuals and families empowered through strength of character and volunteerism to live fuller lives for generations to come. We believe the more children and families that participate in the Inside Out Club, over time, we will make this vision come true. Thank you for being a part of it!

The Inside Out Club (https://www.isupportcommunity.org/inside-out-club/) is on the weekends, in schools and @home (online). We offer it free of cost so that everyone can participate regardless of their financial situation. If you’d like to make a donation, please click here. (https://www.isupportcommunity.org/donate/
